DNR is a brand with history. Already in 1860 the men behind DNR made Jackets. As fashion evolved, the brand evolved. Not only was DNR trying to make a better jacket every new season, they were focussing on the type of jacket that the customer wanted to wear. The jacket that you wanted to wear.
Now, more than 150 years later not much has changed. At least, our way of thinking hasn't changed. These days DNR jackets are being sold in over 2500 retail shops worldwide.
It doesn't matter where you are or what you do. A DNR jacket means unlimited freedom in whatever country you are and making sure you feel confident walking down the streets.
After an extensive pilot test, Donders BV initiated a groundbreaking project for the entire supply chain in 2014. Within the scope of this project, radio frequency identification (RFID) has been deployed to optimize the processes of logistics.
Over the course of this development process, an idea for further innovation came up: The ordinary care label was enhanced to a textile RFID label which combines electronic article surveillance, manufacturer care specifications and the electronic product code (EPC). The test phase at Donders BV with the new RFID system has been such a success that the company has implemented this solution across our whole supply chain domestically and abroad.
Since April 2014, we have equipped our annually produced articles of clothing with RFID technology. Together with our label supplier and logistics partners, this project has not only resonated very positively within the industry, but also has elevated Donders BV to the role of pioneer in the field of RFID technology in fashion logistics.
We are glad to announce that DNR jackets are now being sold in more than 2500 retail shops worldwide. This is seen as a result of craftsmanship since 1860 and the constant care of being authentic. In fact, DNR is being sold in over 20 countries.
